Honoring The Flag?

According to the courts, it is legal to burn the flag of the United States as a form of free speech. According to Morristown, TN police it is illegal for an American citizen, disabled war veteran, Ted Mitchell, 61, to display the flag honorably on a flag staff. These officers felt so compelled and 'threatened' that they resorted to tasers to subdue the Korean War veteran during a protest of the government's failure to enforce the laws of the land. Specifically the immigration laws. A police spokesman stated that the plastic eagle atop the flag staff constituted a weapon. Undoubtedly it was capable of penetrating issue bullet proof vests, you know there have been so many people attacked by plastic eagles....
Following this train of thought, little league baseball players would be declared a street gang for swinging those deadly bats around in a ball park. Am I the only one who sees that something is terribly upside down? If this is the thought process,or lack thereof, of government officials, next election cycle we need to change the government. Interestingly, no government official or politician has stepped forward to defend this American citizen. Go figure.

Didn't you know? Citizens have less rights than anyone in this country, especially in matters of law and welfare.
