Repeating Mistakes

With the Olympics being held I Communist china in 2008 we are seeing history repeating itself. This is the second time the Olympics have been held I a major dictatorship. The first was in 1936 in Nazi Germany. You would have thought that the Olympic committee would have learned its lesson. But they are not the only ones repeating bad judgment. Prior to WWII U.S. business men and bankers were up to their eyeballs in helping Nazi Germany rebuild. Henry Ford, that Henry Ford of Ford Motor Company, received the Grand Service Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle, the highest award that could be given to a non German, by the Nazis. He was not alone, other “great” American business leaders like Prescott Bush, Joe Kennedy, the Rockefeller Foundation, DuPont, ALCOA, and General Motors all were closely intertwined with the Nazis. We now have the same groups of businesses and leaders modernizing and equipping Communist China’s industry, all the while dismantling industry here in the U.S. Remember, it was the industrial might of the U.S. which actually turned the direction of the war and equipped all major allies fighting Germany and Japan. This time around we are not only equipping our enemy, but we are borrowing money from them and the communists are buying into the huge corporate banks. What will be the result of this folly? Without industry, in debt to our enemy, importing food, no secure border, and with our military bogged down overseas, what will become of the once great republic?
